Disinfection Units

Indoor air quality is a global issue. Indoor air quality is important for health and comfort. Exposure to indoor air pollution can cause a range of health issues. HVAC systems circulate airborne contaminants like viruses, bacteria, molds throughout a building. The ABClean Air Solutions Inc. offers an innovative and reliable solution designed as an add-on component to disinfect the indoor air from any contaminants in any building/enclosed environment.  Installing an add-on disinfection unit HVAC system effectively destroys such microorganisms and improves indoor air quality. This cutting-edge disinfection solution, revolutionizes air quality management due to:
Cost-Effective Excellence: A 66% reduction in capital costs and an 80% decrease in operating costs when compared to traditional UV methods.
Proven Efficiency: A proven technology that guarantees over 95% disinfection within just 20 minutes of operation.
Versatile Integration: Easy integration into existing or new HVAC system.
Air Quality Enhancement: Elevates indoor air quality effortlessly, without generating any harmful by-products.
ASHRAE Certified Validation: Rigorous testing and verification in the ASHRAE wind tunnel at the University of Alberta.

Unlike UV light that is generated by special lamps that emit radiation in the ultraviolet spectrum, the add-on device uses no UV light to inactivate the airborne. The unit can come as a stand-alone device or installed in the HVAC system as add-on to the system.

They provide comprehensive air purification and microbial control with

proper HVAC filtration.

Types of air disinfection devices

Depending on the size of the space and sensitivity of the environment for air disinfection, different options may be considered.

  1. Standalone/portable device

Standalone devices are suitable for smaller  areas such as single rooms.

  2. Add-on to HVAC system

  • In-duct add-on

This option can be used where you want to disinfect a particular space rather than the whole building’s air, to protect occupants with weakened immune system/ members have air quality-related health issues.

  • Air-handler Add-on

Where the whole building such as a hospital/school air must be disinfected a large air disinfection device is installed in this area.

Benefits of innovated disinfection system

Having a stand-alone disinfection system in your house or installing it in your HVAC system provides a wide range of benefits:

Inactivates airborne such as molds and viruses: the device destroy/inactivates microscopic contaminants as they pass through the device, significantly improving indoor air quality.

Requires minimal maintenance: Unlike UV based technology, that uses UV bulbs and need replacements after a few months this device lasts for many years. Minimal maintenance is needed beyond periodic bulb replacement. The unit only requires regular medium to high MERV filters to be replaced every 3 months.

Provides whole-home disinfection: Central HVAC systems distribute air throughout the home, bringing high quality air to every room.

Extends equipment life: Reducing microbial growth prevents corrosion, clogs, and damage to HVAC components.
